Shnacky was born from a desire to provide a plant based high protein snack.

 

My name is Steve and I love the outdoors life, even rain excites me. I was always a fan of meat jerky, well anything with meat in it to be honest!! But over the past few years the way of the world has changed my thinking and I have come to the realisation that less meat in our diet is a good thing. Not just for our internal health but you also have to give the large scale industrial farming some serious consideration. 

 

I started experimenting with vegan dishes and discovered some amazing flavours. Then I stumbled upon a very early edition of todays Shnacky's  Jerky. I would give little samples out to friends and family. Martin used to get a little pouch every so often after our runs and I would trial the chilli spice levels out on Tim at work. Interest grew and people started asking me to make more, I couldn't believe it.....

 

Shnacky was born and  now I want make this artisan vegan jerky available for all.

This jerky is perfect for any hikes you have planned. Any long journeys that you can now take, or even form part of the nibbles tray for when you get together with friends and family.
